How to
apply
To participate in the pitch or poster presentations,
register to attend the event and follow the prompts to submit your 250-word
abstract.
Applications closed on Sunday 28 October 2018.
Selection criteria to apply to present
- Individual and team submissions are accepted. Teams must select a representative who is an EMCR or a PhD student to submit the application and present at the event.
- We encourage applications from EMCRs and PhD students from ALL disciplines.
- EMCR applicants must be a member of the Australian Academy of Science EMCR Forum. It is free to sign up as a member.
An EMCR is defined as a researcher who received their PhD within the last 15 years (excluding any periods of career interruption), irrespective of their position or sector.
When
you apply
During the application process you will be able to select
the type of submission: individual or team. If you apply on behalf of a team,
you will have to provide names, organisation and position of the other team
members. Please note, only one application to present is accepted per team and
all team members who wish to attend the conference must complete a separate
individual registration to attend.
You will then be asked to briefly describe the problem
you are aiming to solve (approximately 50 words) and what your collaborative
solution to this problem is (approximately 250 words).
What
happens next?
You will be notified of the outcome of your application
to present in early-November 2018.
