The Early- and Mid-Career Researcher (EMCR) Forum is looking for partners interested in supporting the next generation of STEMM leaders at our Science Pathways 2021: Sustainable careers conference.
The support from our partners will help us provide a platform for Australia’s EMCRs to discuss, debate and plan their careers in a welcoming, constructive, and inclusive environment synonymous with EMCR Forum events. We have different options available to suit your needs.
Event Partners will all receive a valuable package including a number of tangible benefits and acknowledgement in return for their investment.
Science Pathways offers your organisation a unique opportunity to:
- position your organisation as a potential workplace of choice for EMCRs;
- promote your organisation and gain recognition from emerging leaders in STEMM;
- reach a diverse and multidisciplinary audience from all around Australia;
- nurture and access a network of researchers from a wide range of disciplines;
- help highlight and identify diverse career pathways for people in STEMM;
- support the career and professional development of EMCRs.
COVID-19 management
We understand that COVID-19 is an evolving situation. We have contingency plans in place to adapt the in-person components of the launch event online should in-person meetings not be possible at the time of the conference.
We have made provision for our partners to be able to attend and support the online conference and will work with you to ensure that you are able to engage constructively with delegates in order to make the experience as valuable as possible. Our Science Pathways sponsorship team will also be in contact with regard to any compensation for the loss of the face-to-face exhibition elements.
EMCR supporter
The EMCR Forum understands that it might be challenging for some organisations to partner with us during these difficult times. However, we are interested to recognise employers' efforts to support their EMCRs to attend our Science Pathways 2021: Sustainable careers conference.
Organisations can receive recognition as an employer that supports professional development and opportunities for their EMCRs by becoming an EMCR supporter.
EMCR supporters will have their logo featured in our event website if they:
- purchase four (4) registrations for the launch event in person on 25 - 26 November, or
- purchase ten (10) season passes for the online-only events that will be held on 2, 8 and 10 December.
