STEM Women is an online directory of
women in Australia working in science, technology, engineering and mathematics
(STEM). STEM Women aims to promote gender equity in STEM by enabling a diverse
range of women to be offered exciting opportunities to progress their careers
and personal capabilities.
Thanks to the generous donation by Professor Michelle Coote
of her Georgina Sweet Fellowship, STEM Women is offering funding to support
exceptional and diverse changemakers in the STEM Women community to attend
Catalysing Gender Equity 2020.
These STEM Women Changemakers will network with leaders and influencers across the
STEM sector, contribute to the development of strategies to achieve gender
equity, share their knowledge and experiences, and champion the STEM Women
platform.
STEM Women will cover costs associated with each changemaker’s attendance at Catalysing Gender Equity 2020, such as registration, travel, accommodation and caring support. The type of activity covered depends on the changemaker’s departure location.
Applications for STEM Women Changemaker grants are now closed.
Successful applicants will be notified of the outcome in mid-January 2020.
