This presentation will explore the role of drawing undertaken by two clinical surgeons, and a fine artist. By discussing their differing approaches to the role of drawing, and to who they are drawing for, I will focus on the utility of drawing and its cross-disciplinary capability. I will also set the context for this work through the lens of an exhibition at Wimbledon College of Arts, and a taxonomy of drawing developed by Prof. Stephen Farthing UAL Chair of Drawing.
