Science at the Shine DOME 2024
Celebrating our nation’s remarkable scientific talent
This year, Science at the Shine Dome 2024 was a wonderful week celebrating and honouring outstanding achievements in science. Over the four-day event, we were joined by more than 550 people from 12 countries, and almost 800 people joined us remotely to watch the event livestream. We welcomed 47 Fellows to the Academy, we heard presentations from 54 Academy Fellows and awardees, and we recognised 51 award recipients.
We were honoured to also hear from the Governor-General, the Minister for Industry and Science, and the Shadow Minister for Science and the Arts at the Gala Dinner at the National Arboretum.
