Flourish! will challenge you to move beyond disciplinary fields, linking scientific insights and data with appropriate policy frameworks and communication strategies. We will explore novel ways of addressing planetary health challenges and propose boundary-spanning solutions and frameworks to ensure long term wellbeing and resilience of people and the planet.

Expected Outcomes for participants:

  • Improved understanding of their specific research in the context of the broad ranging disciplines relevant to Planetary health;
  • Knowledge of pathways for effective cross-disciplinary collaboration to address complex problems;
  • Key skills in interdisciplinary research and scientific communication;
  • An interdisciplinary EMCR network committed to planetary and human health and a foundation for ongoing collaborations, leading to win-win recommendations for policy and practice.

We invite you to submit an Expression of Interest outlining how you currently work in an interdisciplinary space, or how your research would benefit from increased interdisciplinary collaboration. Selected participants will then be invited to participate in the professional development workshops and the two-day interdisciplinary symposium.
